Jermal M Clark, 46, of Junction City, passed away Tuesday, December 29th, at his residence. He was born in Ft. Dix, New Jersey on June 29, 1969, the son of the late Pearly Clark and the late Glovine (Wallace) Clark. Jamel and Tonya were united in marriage on Feb. 17, 1996 in Ft. Dix, Kentucky. He was retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of dedicated service. After retirement from the service, he worked as a Military PayTech for the Department of Defense at Ft. Riley,and was a devoted member of Church of God in Christ Manhattan. Jermal attended and graduated from high school in Bayview, Wisconsin, graduated from Barton County Community College at Ft. Riley, and graduated from Southwestern College also at Ft. Riley with a Bachelors Degree. Jermal is survived by his wife, Tonya of the home; daughters, Felicia R. Mills-Wilson, of Junction City; Jaquita B. Clark, of Topeka; April M. Mills, of Manhattan; daughter/granddaughter Angelyka R. Clark, of Junction City; son, Jarvis I. Clark, of Junction City; son/grandson Alex-Jaimes P. Clark, of Junction City; father and mother-in law Larry and Evelyn Farmer of Hepzibah, GA; three sisters, Patricia F. Owens, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Monica Clark, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Harriett Clark, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. a brother, Dwayne, husband of Tennita Clark, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; sister-in-laws, Taryn Martin (Steve) of Killeen, Texas; Felicia Brown of Warren, Texas; brother-in-law, Kevin Farmer of Augusta, Georgia. Jermal is preceded in death by his parents. Friends are invited to call with family present from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Mt. Zion Family Worship Center, 916 Yuma St, Manhattan, Kansas. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, January 8th, at the church. Burial will follow at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, 5181 Wildcat Creek Rd, Manhattan with full military honors by the Ft. Riley Honor Guard. The family request donations to American Diabetes Association and may be sent to the Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home, 1317 W. Poyntz Ave, Manhattan.
