Anna Fay Larson, 97, of Manhattan, passed away Sunday, September 27th, at Stonybrook Retirement Community. Anna Fay (Renfro) Larson was born in McAllister, Oklahoma on February 2, 1918, the daughter of the late Liza (Mosco) Renfro and Harvey Renfro. She grew up in Henryetta, Oklahoma, and attended the local schools. On Dec. 6, 1947 she was united in marriage to Harold L. Larson in Greeley, Colorado where they were living. She moved to Wichita during WW II and worked for Boeing assembling nuts in the tails of airplanes. She also has lived in Greeley, Colorado, El Paso, Texas from 1951-1957, Waterville in 1957, Wamego in 1958 and then to Manhattan in 1959. Her hobbies were baking, crossword puzzles, and gardening. She was a member of College Avenue United Methodist Church in Manhattan. Anna is survived by a son,Harvey J. Larson, husband of Nancy, of Manhattan; 3 grandchildren, Angelia Motley, Allen Larson and Michael Larson; and 4 great grandchildren, Tyler Motley, Kaitlyn Motley, Ryan Larson and Alyssa Larson. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Larson on August 30, 1990, her parents and 5 brothers and sisters.
