Charlotte June Blake

Charlotte June Blake, 86, of Manhattan, KS, died Thursday, January 25th, 2018 at Good Shepherd Hospice House. Charlotte was born in Clay Center, KS on February 8, 1931, to Velma Reller (Boyd) and Charles B. Langley. She attended public schools in Clay Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Manhattan, where she also volunteered. She was a Homemaker, going on walks, playing cards and cheering on the K-State Wildcat teams. Most of all, Charlotte loved spending time with her family. She married the love or her life, Loren F. Blake, Jr. on July 22, 1950. Charlotte is survived by; two daughters, Sandra Pike, of Manhattan, KS; Pamela Blake, of Manhattan, KS; three sons Randy (Joan) Blake, of Manhattan, KS; Richard (Becky) Blake, of Manhattan, KS; Douglas Blake, of Manhattan, KS; Daughter in Law Amie Tholstrup of Salina; 10 Grandchildren, and 16 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; five sisters; Clara Jean Cameron, Violet Evans, Dorothy Zinke, Darlene Purling, and Leona Myrnes; three brothers; Roy Langley, Robert Langley, and Raymond Brown; one infant son: Larry Eugene Blake, one infant daughter, Connie Kay Blake; and Son in Law Kenneth Pike. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 10:00 AM, at Sunrise Cemetery, Manhattan, KS. Memorial donations may be made to The Good Shepherd Hospice House, Manhattan, KS. Arrangements have been entrusted to Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home and Crematory.
