Lewis Lee (Cracker) Martin, 79, of Manhattan, passed away Saturday, October 16th. He was retired as an Underwriter with Farm Bureau Financial Services in Manhattan. Lewis was born in Hill City, Kansas on July 29, 1942, a son of the late Elsie (Schoolcraft) and William H. Martin. He graduated for Hill City High School, Hill City, and Ft. Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science. Lewis also served and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. Lewis is survived by his son, Mike L Martin, of Leawood, KS; three grandchildren, Tag, Merit and Gray Martin; a sister, Bobbie Cameron, of Hill City, KS; three brothers, Willie (Neeann) Martin, of Overland Park, KS; Tommie Martin, of Excelsior Springs, MO; Randy Martin, of Indonesia. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenny Martin. Memorial service arrangements will be announced by the Stinemetz Funeral Home in Hill City, KS.
