David Weston Mitchell

David Weston Mitchell passed away at Meadowlark Hills in Manhattan, Kansas on April 13, 2025.

David is survived by his wife of just short of 58 years, Susan, two daughters; Natalie Barbee (Mark) of Topeka, Kansas, Elizabeth Irby (Bret) of Liberal, Kansas; two sisters, Judy Greenwood (Larry) of Salina, Kansas, and Mary Minturn (Brian) of Denver, Colorado. As well as four grandchildren; Myrna, Kyle, Mitchell and Rebecca and eight great grandchildren.

David Graduated from Manhattan High School in 1965 and then worked at Kansas State University as a Laboratory Education Tech in the Architecture Department for 33 years.

Services for David are being held at Irvin Parkview Funeral Home of Manhattan, Kansas. Visitation will be on Friday, April 25, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm. Services will be on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 at 10 am in the Irvin Parkview Funeral Home Chapel.
