Emmalynn Paige Staley

Emmalynn Paige Staley passed peacefully in the arms of her loving parents at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City on October 15, 2018, at 2:45 pm. Emmalynn was born on October 2, 2018, at 4:17 am to parents Christopher and Allison Staley at Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, Kansas. She has one super big brother, Trenton (age 4). Her maternal grandparents are Mick and Missy Tener; and paternal grandparents Robert Staley, Cindy Smith, and Lupe Nunez. She has three aunts: Trisha Miller, Elizabeth Staley, and Mallorie Tener; and four uncles: Joshua Miller, Michael Staley, Patrick Staley, and Mitch Tener. During her thirteen short days on Earth, she touched many hearts and was loved deeply. That love will continue on forever with her memory. An angel opened up the book of life and wrote down our baby’s birth. Then she whispered as she closed the book, “She’s too beautiful for Earth.” In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made as donations to the family in care of the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at 10:00 am at Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home, burial to follow at Sunrise Cemetery.
