Felisita Lara

April 12, 1950 — February 20, 2022

Felicita Lara, 71, of Manhattan, passed away Sunday, February 20th, at her home in Manhattan. She was a retired delivery person for Dillons, but her true love was being a homemaker for her family. Felicita was born in El Paso, Texas on April 12, 1950, the daughter of the late Maria Percidia and Jose De La Rosa. She was married to the late Orlando Lara on May 8, 1971, in Roswell, NM. She attended Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Manhattan for many years. Felicita is survived by her daughter, Anna Lara of Manhattan; three sons Michael Orlando Lara, of Havensville, KS; Patrick Eric Lara, of Manhattan; Jose Maria Lara also of Manhattan and, 3 brothers, Zekiel De La Rosa, Jose M. De La Rosa, Joe De La Rosa) and 6 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Orlando Lars; parents; and brothers Nick and Rudy De La Rosa. An inurnment service will be held at the Ft. Riley Post Cemetery, Ft. Riley, Kansas at a later date.
