Florence Aline Hull Florence Aline Hull, 93, of Corbin, KY, formerly of Manhattan passed away Friday, January 19th, in Corbin KY. She and her husband Roy were the former owners of the Hull Business Machines in Manhattan. Florence was born in Deer Creek, OK on June 30, 1924, the daughter of the late Vesta Fern (Dobbs) and Bud Milton Esser. She was a graduate of McPherson High School, McPherson, and the Wichita Business College. On June 7, 1946, in McPherson, KS she was united in marriage to Roy Dow Hull, which was for 55 years, until his death on July 12, 2001. She was a legal secretary during WWII in New Orleans, was with the 4-H Magazine at Kansas State University retiring in 1962. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Soroptimist both in Manhattan. Florence is survived by four daughters, Marva (Robert) Nelson, Katy, TX; Donna (Scott) Goltry of Madison, NE, Cindy,(Roger) Berquist, of Bloomington, MN; Stephanie (Tracy)Schumann, of Ashland, KY; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter, Jennifer Nelson; sisters, Norma Vasholtz Dillon and Majorie Enochs. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 24th at the First United Methodist Church in Manhattan with Rev. Melanie Martin officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Sunrise Cemetery Manhattan.
