Kenneth Wayne Cade Kenneth Wayne Cade, 58, of Junction City passed away Tuesday, July 11th, 2017. Kenneth entered in to his life on June 28, 1959 in Lafayette, LA the son of the late Audrey Mae (Ratliff) and Ovie Cade, Sr. On Oct. 21, 1994 he was united in marriage to Christine Peoples in Manhattan and she survives. Kenny graduated from the Jack Yates High School In Houston, TX; he received an associate’s degree in Applied Science from Barton County Community College Ft. Riley he served his country in the US Army and was a veteran, he was a member of New Church of the Living God in Junction City, a member of the VFW Post 873 in Junction City, Past Master KAW Blue Lodge #107 in Manhattan and was a Past CIC Nathan W. Thacher Consistory #107 where he was a 33rd Dgr Mason, Past Potentate of the Fayum Temple #209 of the PHA Shriners, Advisor to the Daughters Fayum Court #192 and the DAV Chapter 28, Manhattan. Kenneth is survived by his wife Christine of the home; two daughters, Kakeia Cade, of Manhattan; Kenyara Cade, of Junction City; a son, Kenneth W. Cade, Jr., of Wichita; nephew/son, Brandon Cade of Knoxville, TN; nine sisters, Lenora Cade, of Port Arthur, Texas; Phyllis Jackson-Thomas, of San Antonio; Claudia Cade, of Port Arthur; H. Lee Brucato, of Cary, NC; Veronica Cade, of Abbeville, LA; Marlene Cade, of Dallas; Annie Henderson, of Wichita; Denise Cade, of Wichita; Bernadette Brown, of Wichita. two brothers, Ovie Cade, Jr, of Great Bend, Anthony Cade, Sr., of Chesapeake, VA; 6 grandchildren, Patience Dawson, Zaelah Houk, Noe Gordon, Ziggy Wayne Corral, Kenniya Cade, Kendrea Cade; two sister-in-laws, Evlyn Curls, Manhattan and Michelle Smith of Junction City as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; two nephews, Kenneth Brown & Kenneffe Cade; father & mother in law, Billy Joe and Elrena Peoples; two sister-in- laws, Lora Wooten & Janet Castillo. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 20th at New Church of the Living God from 10:00 am until the Celebration of Life at 11:00 am.
