McKinley Blake, Jr., 76, of Manhattan, KS passed away Wednesday, May 6 2020, at Via Christi Village. McKinley was born in Columbus, GA on July 17, 1943, to Lucille (Williams) and McKinley Blake, Sr. He grew up in Phoenix City, Alabama before moving to Seattle, Washington. He was employed as a Banquet Waiter, and worked for the National Church Residences for 10 years McKinley loved collecting Music. McKinley is survived by his sisters, Shirley Brown, and Delois Blake-Puckett, his children Hollie Raynor, Crystal Jakes-Banks, Shurvon Haynes, Miesha Blake, Julie Ford Herbinson, Desiree Cormier, Josephus Owens, Michael Blake, Derrick Mitchell, Frunzino Blake, Adrell Mitchell, along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, in laws, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Barbara Webb. A celebration of life will held on Saturday August 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Carlson's Irvin-Parkivew Funeral Home and Cremation.
