Michael Allen Kelley, 56, of Manhattan, passed away Monday, May 23rd, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan. He served in the U. S. Army as a SFC during the Desert Storm and was a Tank Commander with the U. S. Army for 24 years, retiring on Oct. 31, 2004. After his retirement he helped with his wife at the day care that his wife, Yong Kelly, had at home. Mike was born in Los Angles, on July 4, 1959, the son of Sherry Lynn (Morton) Kelley, of Toledo OH and the late Allen Sherwood Kelley. He was the husband of Yong Oak (Chu) Kelley on Nov. 27, 1993 in Toledo, OH. Mike is survived by his wife, Yong of the home; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Kelley, of Manhattan, KS; a stepson,Joe (Jessica) Link, of Minneapolis, MN; a sister, Deborah (John) Eding, of Maumee, OH; a brother, Frank Kelley, of Toledo, OH; 3 step-grand daughters Hayleigh Link, Madison Link, Chloe Link. Mike was preceded in death by his father. Mike's wish was for cremation with no services and his ashes to be taken back home to Ohio.
