Michael "Critter" H. Graff

Michael H. Graff of Morrowville, son of Erple and Carrie (Young) Graff was born April 20, 1952, in Concordia, KS. He departed this life on May 1, 2018, in his home at the age of 66. He attended and graduated with the class of 1970 at Washington High School. He was drafted into the Army on June 30, 1972, completed his military training in Ft. Sill, OK and was honorably discharged April 1, 1974, at the rank of PFC. He was employed at Endicott Clay Co. for 41 years starting on March 17, 1977, he enjoyed his time and friends while working there as a forklift driver. Michael married Debra (Prellwitz) Graff on August 19, 1977, at Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Washington, KS. This union was blessed with four children Wendy, Jonathan, Justin, and Derek. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, his muscle cars, tinkering on anything in his shop, being with family and B.S.ing with his friends. Michael was proceeded in death by his parents Erple and Carrie, brother Patrick, son Jonathan, and infant grandson Harrison James Graff. He was survived by his wife Debra of Morrowville, KS, daughter Wendy Voss husband Ben, grandson Brent of Hebron, NE; son Justin Graff wife Rose of Morrowville, KS; son Derek Graff wife Ashlen, grand-daughters Emma and Claire of Hoisington, KS; step-daughter Mindy Nicholson husband Greg of Marquette KS, grandsons Conner Holdren of Hutchinson, KS; Carson Holdren and Chandler Nicholson; and In-laws, nieces and nephews. Burial services will be held on May 25, at the Washington City Cemetery at 11:00 am followed by a meal at the Cougars Den in Morrowville, KS. His tank is full, it shimmers and gleams, he's on a long highway to nowhere it seems. We will miss that growly voice and that onery ole grin, and we all can't wait until we can see him again.
