Michael Raymond “Spanky” Fenwick (65), originally from Floyd Knobs, Indiana, passed away August 30, 2021 from ALS. Michael was born January 19, 1956 in New Albany, Indiana. His parents were the late Wilbur Gene “Joe” Fenwick, Patricia Roseanne Fenwick, and stepmother Shirley Fenwick. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Wilbur Gene “Sonny” Fenwick. Michael served in the U.S. Army from 1977 to 1989. He then worked for Larson Construction from 1989 to 2019. Due to disease, Michael retired. He is survived by his wife, Teresa, of 37 years. His sons, Michael Bradley (Kristen), Derrick Michael (Angel), and daughter Danielle Nicole Hamilton (Justin). Michael had 11 grandchildren. Also, surviving are Michael’s sisters, Pam Rogge (Stuart), Diana Dalton (Wesley), and Charlotte Jacobi (Brian). Michael has a stepbrother, Albert Mills, and two stepsisters, Connie Tedesco and Tracy Burgin. Michael was extremely devoted to his family and a very hard worker. He enjoyed working in the yard, cleaning his garage, and fishing. Celebration of Life will be October 16th, 1 PM to 5 PM, in Keats Park. Please RSVP to Teresa.
