Robert Wirt Crofoot

June 9, 1957 — January 26, 2022

Robert Wirt (Robert) Crofoot, 64, of Junction City, KS, passed away Wednesday, January 26th, at his residence with family and friends present.  He was a truck driver- end dump for  Shilling Construction Manhattan and also Mid-West Concrete also in Manhattan Robert Crofoot was born in San Marcas, Texas on June 9, 1957, a son of the late Irene Gloria (Haynes) and George Wendell Crofoot. with family and friends present.  Robert was united in marriage to Cheryl Dunn on February 15, 1988, in Junction City, Kansas Robert was an avid motorcyclist belonging to the Hawgs Motorcycle Club, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, and the Geary County Rural Fire Dept.  Robert was an educated man receiving a BA from Touro University in Vallejo, California in Criminal Justice and a Masters in Business Administration.   He served during the Desert Storm and was retired from the U.S. Army as an E-6.  Robert and Cheryl belonged to the Bethany UMC or the Zion Brethren in Christ Church.   Robert is survived by his wife Cheryl of their home; five sons William Vibbert (April Millis) of Waterloo NY;  Robert "Robby" Crofoot, of College Station, TX;  David (Jeannine) Vibbert, of Auburn, NY;  Greggory "Greg" Vibbert, of Longs, SC;  Eric Crofoot, of College Station, TX; sister, Cindy (Lee) Moore, of Texas. a brother, George (Lisa) Crofoot, of NC; and 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  George was preceded in death by his parents, both grandparents and aunts, and uncles. The family requests any donations be directed to the Good Shepherd Home Care and Hospice 3801 Vanesta Dr. Manhattan, Kansas 66503. Inurnment and military honors will be at the  Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Manhattan, KS at a later date.
