Terri Jean Gregg, 56, of Manhattan, passed away in her home, Sunday, September 16, 2012. Terri was born in Kansas City, Kansas on April 15, 1956, a daughter of Betty Barbara (Paxton) Cramer and the late Roger Ray Cramer. She grew up in Kansas City area, and attended the local schools, graduated from Washington High School in 1974. Received her bachelors degree in speech communication with a minor in English Literature and Sociology from Wichita State University. She moved to Manhattan in 1987. She was later employed at Farm Bureau Insurance in 1989, where she worked until December of 2011. She became very active at The Manhattan Community Theater for a short period of time. She loved to play her guitar, listen to jazz and blues music. She was very intrigued by the science and appeal of healing crystals. She enjoyed studying the Native American culture as well as listening to their native music. Terri is survived by her daughter, Chrystal C. Gregg, of Leavenworth; two sons, Casey Tyler James Gregg, of Manhattan; Matthew Kyle Gregg and girlfriend Sasha both of Manhattan; two sisters, Toni, and life partner Brenda Cooper of Bellevue, Washington; Michelle Ann Greenlee, and husband Terry Greenlee, both of Leavenworth, Kansas; two nephews, Ian Greenlee, and wife Brittany, both of Shawnee, Kansas, Chad Greenlee, and wife Emylee, both of Kansas City, Missouri; a niece, Katie Su Cramer of Bellvue, WA; one great-nephew, Essien Greenlee of Kansas City, Missouri. The funeral service will be held at at Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation at 11:00am on Thursday, September 20th, with Pastor Jol Klein officiating. Interment is at Sunrise Cemetery in Manhattan. The family has requested donations to Good Shepherd Homecare Hospice house. Donations may be left in the care of Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home & Cremation.
