Thomas F. Cotton Thomas 'Tom' Floyd Cotton, 62, of Manhattan, passed away at Wednesday, September 14th, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House. Tom was born in Augsburg, Germany on September 11, 1954, the son of Eleanor (McClearin) Cotton, of Palm Bay Florida and the late John P. Cotton. Tom was united in marriage to Sheila (O'Kane) Cotton. Tom was a graduate of the Satellite Beech, Florida High School and attended KSU, he served as a Combat Engineer at US Army for 23 yrs. as a 1st Sgt. during the Persian Gulf War retiring in 2006. Tom was very active with his family at the 'PaPa Daycare' Tom is survived by his wife, Sheila of the home; his mother of Eleanor (McClearin) Cotton, of Palm Bay Flordia; two daughters, Jennifer Cotton, of Manhattan; Cristina Snow, of Omaha; two sisters, Mary Stanley, of Belle Plaine; Patricia McRoberts, of St. Louis; two brothers, Jeff Cotton, of Tallahassee; Steve Cotton, also of Palm Bay; three grandchildren, Kimley Cotton, Emma Snow and Declan Cotton. He was preceded in death by his father. At the request of the family there will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Home Care and Hospice, 3801 Vanesta Dr., Manhattan 66503. Scattering of his ashes will be in Satellite Beech, Florida.
