Verda Eloise Weil Verda Eloise Weil, 89, of Manhattan, Kansas, passed away Sunday, September 4th, at her residence. Verda was born in Hardtner, Kansas on April 23, 1922, a daughter of the late Vera Zella (Blunk) Graves and George Luther Graves, Jr.. Verda is survived by two daughters, Vickie E.Crowder, wife of Stanley of Manhattan, Renee D. Helphingstine, of Coffeyville; a son, Reggie Weil, of Manhattan; and also many grandchildren & great grandchildren. Verda is preceded in death by parents, husband (Raymond Eugene Weil), son (Raymond (Gene) Weil, Jr.,) 3 sisters (Glenna Hammer, Cleta C. Graves & Afton LaFay Joseph), 4 brothers (Gerald I. Graves, Homer H. Graves, John L. Graves & Billy M. Graves) The family will receive friends on Thursday, Sept. 8th from 6-8pm at the Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the Hardtner United Methodist Church in Hardtner, Kansas, at 11:00am on Friday, September 9th. Burial will follow at the Hardtner Cemetery, Hardtner, Kansas.
