William Arthur Clark, 70, of Wamego, passed away Tuesday, June 14th at his home. He is survived by his wife Colleen (Weber) Clark. He was a retired brick mason with Perfection II Masonry, Inc. of Alta Vista retiring in 2008. Bill was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 6, 1946, the son of the late Evelyn (Connelly) and Warren Clark. He attended high school in Brooklyn, NY, joined and served in the U.S. Army as a Sgt. during the Vietnam War. On Sept. 7, 1977 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. he was united in marriage to Colleen. On Thursday, June 6, 2016 Bill was baptized. William is survived by his wife, Colleen; two daughters, Tina & Robert Darden, of Louisville, KS; Jenni & Jeremy Woody, of Wamego; two sons Jeffrey & Lisa Clark, of Ava, MO and Shawn Kiley, of Mechanicville, NY.; 15 grand, 11 great, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Loretta Stratton in 2002. The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 19th at Bill & Colleen's home in Wamego, KS. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Old Shaftsbury Cemetery in Shaftsbury, VT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Home Care & Hospice of Manhattan and maybe sent to the Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home.
